Election acts and laws and bylaws violates: “3. Every citizen of Canada has the right to vote in an election of members of the House of Commons or of a legislative assembly and to be qualified for membership therein.” They make you qualify for the ballot. Given it’s based on your starting resources (like Party, Brotherhoods, Connections, Class…. no equal access to the ballot under the law). I don’t have a write-in to let me vote for who ever I want, my ideal Candidate might not make the ballot qualification, therefore my voting rights are under attack as much as his ballot access rights.
